We needed some temperature insulation for large SW facing windows in the kitchen. During the early spring, our countertops would reach close to 90F just from the direct sunlight. We elected for window screens rather than film due to the older windows, and they look and perform great — at least a 10 degree difference during peak heat in the kitchen still with lots of natural light! Arizona Window Coverings Center provided us with several options and recommendations in their consult, and custom made the screens with installation a few weeks later.
